I first posted this in the Dreamcast 2 failed humor thread, but figured someone might actually see it in a new topic. Does anyone know the skinny on this?
Dreamcast 2 - 12/12/12?
Re: Dreamcast 2 - 12/12/12?
Ehhhhh...
I dunno. I love Sega, I really do. I'd love to see them make a console comeback. But people have been pulling up evidence of such for years.
I'm always cautiously optimistic about stuff like this, but being honest I don't see it happening.

If we ever do get a Dreamcast 2, we'll look back at Keith Apicary as a video game Nostradamus

Lol we'll all be dead shortly before our order is fulfilled if my conspiracy theory informed friend is correct.
I know I'll preorder one to stave off the apocalypse!

Re: Dreamcast 2 - 12/12/12?
Considering the controller and the design specs, it looks like Nintendo's Project Cafe IS the Dreamcast 2.
Re: Dreamcast 2 - 12/12/12?
12+12+12 = 36
dreamcast.... 9/9/99...
9 + 9 + 9 + 9 = 36...
36 / 4 = 12...
3 times 4 = 12...
3 + 6 = 9, 9 - 6 = 3, 9 + 3 = 12.
Hmmmmmmmmm.....

EDIT
By the way, I keep thinking about this. The Dreamcast controller isn't that bad, in fact it could be awesome with just a few minor adjustments. The handles would have to be angled, the triggers more like those on the GC controllers, fitting the fingers more snugly. The buttons could be copied from the Playstation, the D-Pad from the Saturn, and the analog stick could be improved as well. If Sega do these things, they can keep the controller looking kinda like the Dreamcast 1, and act like they had it right all along.
