All for very different reasons mind you, but those are three games generally considered to be "good" or even "great" by the gaming masses that I just cannot get behind. However, I love A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Majora's Mask, FF1 through FF6, FF9 .. and, well, nothing in the Halo series, but hey, can't win 'em all.
I do tire of people who are all "you dun like teh good gamez" when you say you don't like Ocarina of Time. It's just not that great of game. Deal with it.
Ditto.

Well, you'd probably like these if you prefer the overhead style. And I'm so glad the Feather is back in them from LA, definitely one of my favorite items in the overhead games... adds such an awesome dynamic to everything.
If you put Minish Cap above any of the 3D ones though I might cry.

Nah, Minish Cap was horrible. I hate the childishness of it. I only got an hour in, so maybe I missed something, but the sounds from OoT immediately left a sour taste.
Edit: Well, maybe not horrible, I wouldn't even say OoT was horrible, just overrated. Perhaps I'm comparing them all to LttP too much.

Sega was schizophrenic and had different divisions going in different directions with seemingly little communication or even cooperation between any of them.
It couldn't make up its mind whether it wanted add-ons to the genesis or a whole new system so it did both.
Their arcade division made 3d games like virtua fighter and daytona usa and yet their console division decided to design a 32 bit console for 2d games.
In my opinion the only teams that knew their stuff was their arcade division and whoever was designing their console controllers. Although I've never touched one I've often read that the Sega Saturn controllers (NA2/Japanese model and the one with the analog stick) were some of the best controllers. Considering its similarity to the genesis 6 button controller which I liked a lot, I don't find this hard to believe. I never liked the PS1's dpad.
Sega did learn a lot from its mistakes with the Dreamcast but they had already done too much damage to themselves.
I should also credit Sega for some of their forward thinking ideas which unfortunately were too far ahead of their time like Sega Channel, Modem/Online play, VMU, the craptastic activator and games like Samba de Amigo or Sega Bass Fishing which had their own specialized single purpose peripherals.
I'll always respect Sega for some of their unique games like Chu Chu Rocket and Panzer Dragoon Orta and for all the fun I had as a kid with the Genesis but the company screwed itself over. Only a part of that company knew their stuff, the rest only thought they knew their stuff and failed miserably dragging the whole company down.
Maybe that's a bit too harsh since Sega at least still exists as a software developer and has put out some decent games but one definitely thinks of "what could've been" when it comes to Sega.
