I've never been scared by The Shinning, even when I was younger. I heard that The Fog is supposed be scary apparently so I'm checking that out on Netflix soon. We'll see. I think the only movies that scared me was: The Exorcist, Gremlins (as a kid, even though I loved it anyways, still love it), and Phantasm.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

the first Hellraiser is really scary in my opinion. I think people often forget that because of the ridiculous franchise that it turned into.

The original Hellraiser didn't scare me but with how ridiculous the franchise got? YES, that scared me! I heard something about a remake of that too now. :?

Same here. The Shining is seriously messed up, but it seems to only effect certain people.

Although not a horror movie, the movie Mulholland Drive disturbed me very deeply upon my first viewing.

Best horror character ever! ... lol.

I'm not a huge horror movie fan myself, but some of them can be humorously entertaining. I've seen the originals of some stuff like Halloween, Friday the 13th, etc which I thought were fun. The Thing is very awesome as well, so fucked up and nasty.

I'm more of a psychological thriller fan, but to be honest I'd say the original Alien is one of the scariest things I've ever seen. Watch that shit with headphones in the dark and alone, it was so awesome. The atmosphere and sound are utterly insane.

I saw The Shining finally a month or two ago and loved it, thought it was pretty intense myself. The bear thing was the scariest thing to me, if you guys even caught it. That's exactly why it spooked me. JUST WTF?!?

YES! Finally someone knows what I'm talking about. I swear people never catch that or they don't remember, but that is the part where you get so worked up at the intensity of the movie and then there's a guy in a bear suit giving a butler a blowjob that looks up to look at you and you're like, omgwtf did I just see? Am I losing my mind too?

An excellent way to sum that shit up, haha. Yeah seriously I brought that scene up to some friends not long ago since I just saw it and nobody seemed to really remember it. There's no way in hell I'm forgetting THAT!
