Since we are all talking about conventions and gaming meets, does anyone know if there is anything like that in the Southwest, like in Texas. How about showing some love for Texans too Racketboy.

Because your state takes 3 days to drive through. That and it gave my room mate and I thorns in our feet that took until Seattle WA to get out.

I decided im going to have a convention at my house. We will play snes, tournaments in super bomberman 2, and tmnt tournament fighters. Winner gets a free tank of gas, every one is welcomed. Starts when the first person arrives.

With the price of gas the way it is, I might take you up on that. :P

Mono, Momo its all the same...

I am have a devil of a time finding my Atari stuff. This does not make me happy. I can find the systems but no controllers. Sure the 7800 uses a db9 and I can just use genesis controllers but I cannot find my Jaguar controllers. Or games for that matter.

Still going -- we had to shut down some stuff temporarily just in case we had electrical issues, but everything went pretty well. We had a great time. Hope tomorrow is a blast as well :)

We checked out MomoCon yesterday and had fun. We had planned to go on Saturday but anticipated some wicked traffic due to Friday night's tornado damage. My nine year old twin boys got to play the new Smash Bros. and were excited about that. We spent a lot of time in the retro game room too. The boys and their three year old gaming sister really liked the Alien Hominid stick person platformer mini-game. I'd never played Typing of the Dead before and could not get over how awesome it was. In fact, the first thing I did when we got home was track down the Windows port on UG! We'll definitely be back next year.

Did anyone else go?
