Amnesia: The Dark Descent was only $10 for those of us that pre-ordered, and only $20 retail for everyone else. It is the scariest horror game I've ever played and I still can't believe it launched for such a low fee.

Also, Minecraft was only $10 if you bought during Beta. Considering it is the type of game you could devote your life to and never fully exhaust all of it's possibilities, I would say it was more than worth its asking price.

@Xeogred & MrHealthy,

Thanks for the video Xeogred. I definitely do not have Custom Edition. It's the original PC game with the original maps. The mods are all done to those original maps. I get tons of servers though, and there's usually people playing at every hour of the day and night. There's actually a considerable amount of dedicated servers up and running that I play on.

Ya, custom edition is a free multiplayer only client for everyone with the game that allows custom maps. Not many people play custom maps anymore but it has slightly better net code so it still gets played. As long as you have and use the version changer that is.

But when I go on the regular game, there are a lot of servers but most of them are empty, except for maybe like 1 or 2 of them. Custom Edition 1.00 though has hunderds of people still playing, which is kind of surprising since Custom Edition was never as popular as the regular game.

There's usually a ton of empty servers but I can always find at least a few which are nearly full. I guess when I think about it, the game does seem pretty empty nowadays. I usually play in the afternoon though and I think that usually helps. I sort of have a mental list of which servers I frequent to quickly look at to see if anyone's playing and at least one of them tends to have 10+ players.

The same was true for guilty gear X2:Reload, for original xbox. Only $20 new, it was well worth it.
