I started watching movies like crazy these last 7 days. I saw the evil dead trilogy.
I liked the first, loved the second, disliked the third.
A releative of mine dislikes the first, likes the second and loves the 3rd.
The guy working at my local comic book store hates all 3 movies because he has met bruce campbell and apparently he is an arsehole.

I love the Evil Dead trilogy. I've actually never heard what type of person Bruce Campbell is. That certainly sucks to hear that. I didn't care for that movie he did, My Name is Bruce, I just felt bored and I didn't even finish watching it as a result.

I just added the I Spit on Your Grave remake to my DVD Q on Netflix so I'm anxious to see what they did. It received mostly positive reviews on the netflix site so we'll see. It's not being released though until 2/8/11 and I have like 5 other horror flicks coming in front of that: Maniac, Slaughter High, The Stuff, Slaughterhouse & Don't go in the Woods Alone!

Anyone ever see Gingerdead Man? It's one of those cheesy horror films that I never got around to seeing and now I'm having a bitch of time finding it. Netflix only has the sequel and I'd like to see the first one. I don't expect it to be great but I just always wanted to see it for some reason.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

My Name Is Bruce was a total letdown.

Dude have you SEEN Maniac before? If not, get ready. It is amazing. So tense and scary and awesome.

No I haven't seen it yet. Just bits and piecses of it (no pun intended!). I'm a big Tom Savini fan so I'm pretty pysched to see it. They have this awesome documentary called Going to Pieces which they talk about the history of Slasher films. Definitely worth checking out if you love slashers like I do. It was just so well done. They cover EVERYTHING. I couldn't believe it!

And great gore/effects by Tom Savini- if you are anywhere near Chicago they are playing it at the Music Box and the director will be there!

2 words The Shinig, a movie about a father trying to butcher his wife and son. Sure dying in your dreams is scary, and so is a world where serial killers might not ever die but holy crap is this movie horrific.

There are only a handful of movies that I have ever found to be actually scary (as an adult). The Shining is one of them, along with The Descent, and The Blair Witch Project back when it was released in theaters and it still wasn't completely clear whether or not you were watching a documentary.
