What are your favorite Japanese Xbox 360 Games?

So I'm thinking about getting a Japanese 360, just not sure if I can justify it for the price of the shmups alone. So other than shmups are there enough exclusives to make it worthwhile? I guess I should mention I can't read Japanese so text-heavy games are out of the picture.

Gal Gun is fun if you're not too ashamed to play it.

Other than that, shmups are the only reason to buy a J360. All other Japan-only XBOX 360 games fall under these categories: Dating sim, eroge, board game, RPG, mahjong, and pachinko. All are text heavy.

I'll echo what he said. I don't own a 360, but the shoot 'em up offerings from companies like Konami and Cave are one of the few reasons I would ever consider picking up a 360 in the future.

If you don't have a PS3, then there's Arcana Heart 3. Otherwise, no reason not to get it on the PS3, unless you REALLY prefer the 360's controller selection.

I seem to remember Shoryuken.com talking about a doujin fighter coming exclusively to the 360 as well, but I don't know if it'll stay in Japan (or if it's even out yet).

The Xbox 360, just like the original Xbox, is far from the favorite system in Japan. Japanese just don't seem to like American games as much as we like Japanese games, so non-Japanese systems usually get tepid support over there. I wouldn't bother with a Japanese 360 if I were you.

Well since shmups seem to be the best option, what about a Japanese PS2? I could justify that price for the shmups alone, assuming there are quite a few. I know of Dodonpachi Dai-Oujou, Espgaluda, Mushihimesama, and Ibara. Are there more?
