And my dad is complaining that all I'll be doing is playing video games every night all summer. Psh, I have more self-control than that. And I only just got back from University - gimme a break, geez.

Smile: I got to film using a Hi-Pod for the first time today. Basically, the camera is thirty feet up in the air and I control tilt/zoom/pan down on the ground with a monitor attached to a quadra-pod. It helps that it was in the 70's, overcast, and there was a constant light breeze. A very relaxing work day. Sure as hell beats being thirty feet up in the air on a rickety scaffolding and having to climb up and down the slippery metal bastard like a monkey (which is what I was doing before).

Ticked: I"m suffering from lower back problems so I've been in quite a bit of pain all day and had to use a cane to help with any significant walking.

smile: watched Men In Black again. That's a fun movie.

ticked: aunt decided not to take me to work today and didn't bother letting me know. Her reasoning? "I'm busy cooking dinner", followed by a declaration that I need to be more responsible. Yeah because responsibility = blowing off someone who's relying on you because you want to cook dinner at 10:30pm.

Apparetly she's also mad because I've never offered to put gas in her truck. Sorry if I usually am either tired as hell or have other things on my mind. All she ever had to do was ask and I'd put gas in no problem. I've done it that way with every other ride I've had and she knows this.

Screw this, though. She never did get me to work on time anyway and always took ridiculous routes that took longer than necessary. I'm gonna just set up evening bus rides.

ticked: Just got home and got a package in the mail. It's the 'VERY GOOD' condition Galactic Attack I ordered from World Tree Video games on ebay earlier this week.

Oh? What's this? The seller wrapped the game case in a single layer of newspaper and mailed it in a plain manila envelope? Oh, what's that rattle I hear? Could it be a bonus item, included by the seller to put a smile on my face?

Oh no. It's the game case. Shattered into about 7 pieces. Pour one out for the homies, guys. Another Saturn long box just bit the dust.

Smile: I just won X-Men vs Street Fighter and Fighting Vipers off of eBay for $400! (Yes, the arcades!)

Ticked: Even though it's only 200 miles away, U-Haul wants $400+ for me to do a one-way trip. I planned a similar trip that was 500 miles away, and U-Haul only wanted $275 for that. What the hell gives, man?

I sure as hell ain't paying more for shipping than I am the machines themselves, so I gotta find someone with a truck. A big truck.

Flake: Yeah, I've had many a Saturn game busted by shippers who don't know how to ship shit. My Night Warriors case is a train-wreck.

The Galactic Attack and In the Hunt I got a few months back were just stuck in a big flat bubble pack too. The hinges for one of the cases were still floating in the package so I glued them back on, but I complained and the seller sent me 2 empty cases in a box. I hope you get a satisfactory resolution. But yeah, poor case never knew what hit it. I've started asking if longboxes and Nintendo cardboard boxed games are being sent in a box first before bidding.
