Don't we all?

In fact, I'm gonna guess he'll say something about wives being psychologically driven to misunderstand theirs husbands interests. Or something like that.

Place your bets now.
I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

mjm as Izzy: "Wives are like religious holidays = bullsh*t. Why bother, are you that lonely? Get a life loser. Marry your ps3, have relations w/your ps3, buy your ps3 gifts - like new games. It's my parents fault I want to marry my video game console and not a pulsating body. Oh, and F the salvation army and their "poor me" attitude, am I the only one tired of their metal buckets?""

Or at least I think that's how i think it would go. But neither here nor there...I don't want to derail my own topic. So, more wifey quotes?

My fiance is more vocal about my car hobby, but sometimes she likes to sit and watch me play games that are in Japanese, she doesn't really understand the English ones. It was kind of annoying though when she would watch me play Ryu ga Gotoku 4 (Yakuza 4). She would often interrupt and say "It's not really like that" or "The Yakuza would never do that". "This is so unrealistic!" I'm like "It's just a game!" Sometimes I tell her to scram, but she wants to know what happens next. On the flip side, she would see a favorite fast food or restaurant in the game (the yakuza games feature real-life restaurants and shops) and get all nostalgic. "Ohhh, I want to eat there, I miss that place...OOh! That place too, I used to hang out there in high school!" Then she would tell me to go into the store so she could see the menu. I don't get much done when she is watching! :(

^

My girlfriend saw a trailer for the new Yogi Bear game, (based off the craptacular-looking movie, mind you..) and says:

"Honey, you've gotta get that! It looks just like Donkey Kong Country!"

Actually, I just thought of something.

My wife also likes to watch me play games sometimes.

The funny/annoying thing is that she's taken to heckling me when I'm playing badly.

She doesn't always do it (she's pretty supportive when I'm actually pissed and yelling at the tv, heh) but its an odd experience when my wife laughs and tells me to stop sucking so badly.

Dang, that sounds like just about everything but Twin Peaks, which is currently streaming on Netflix... if you haven't seen it... Michael J. Anderson from Carnivale is in that

Usually i get " you dont need anymore games!" LOL

But seriously she loved watching God of War 1 and 2. We both played new super mario on the DS until i beat the game before her. Big mistake, ALWAYS let the wife beat you so she doesn't get mad and doesnt want to play anymore. And she plays a little rockband with me. Although recently she hasn't been too interested in gaming at all.
