So what have you guys been watching lately?

Well I found out that Fringe and Supernatural got renewed. Great news! Two shows on Friday nights. Maybe Friday night isn't such a bad tv spot after all. Here are two genre shows surviving. Supernatural even seems to be getting more viewers

Fringe was fantastic tonight! They are building up to an AMAZING season finale. Supernatural had a nice big twist and some nice exposition in tonight's episode and Nikita has been killer for the last two episodes. Chuck and Nikita are on the bubble. I am hopeful for their renewals, particularly Nikita. It deserves more than one season. Chuck is awesome every season so I want to see more!
Supernatural is amazing, although I hate to say it... I've only seen several random episodes throughout the current 6(?) seasons, haha. My friends catch me up on things though. They got into it so I just catch it on a lot when we're hanging out, but yeah someday I'll really have to sit down and watch through all of it myself. Great stuff.

As for me I don't really have TV in my room so I never watch anything. But I'll hang out sometime on Thursday's to keep up with the comedies. Community, Office, and Parks & Recs are pretty fun.

I don't watch a lot of comedy but Community has gotten some good buzz and JT had posted some funny youtube clips. I might check it out if I get a chance

Yeah, I love Supernatural. They've done things on that show I haven't seen other shows do. Like instead of having your typical save the world scenario, Supernatural built a whole season around trying to stop the biblical apocalypse. When you put on a show and see the heroes trying to stop the four horsemen, the anti-christ, and a false prophet, well that's some damn good tv

It's interesting the amount of research they put into that show. I have learned about so many myths, urban legends, ghost stories, legendary killers and folklore I knew nothing about before I started watching that show. Very different from a show like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, where they pretty much made up every single monster, demon, etc. that was featured on the show. Supernatural is like occult 101

So I watched Steve Carell's last episode of the Office last night, it was everything I expected it to be.

Funny, charming, lame Michael jokes from season 1&2 I'd missed, touching, somber and all around laced with a hint of sadness. The characters are all starting to come around full circle and the show seems poised to either fully progress into uncharted territory, or wrap up and end on a high-note.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

I was expecting it to be a bit more intense than it was, but it felt just right. Great stuff. Honestly I'd like to see the show end on a high note and maybe put it to rest soon... my friends and I think maybe they'll do more episodes and another season with other actors for temp bosses (like we saw in the previews), but at the very end they'll bring back Michael somehow, like it was meant to be, and end it off that way.

Pretty sure steve will be back for the series finale in some capacity. Maybe they'll all get together to watch the documentary when it's finally done. Even though the show has broken that reality a bit much for it to even feel like a documentary anymore.

New game of thrones tomorrow. So far, true to the book. Will we finally see Hodor?

I'm very interested in this one, sounds pretty good so far from what I hear?

That, Rome, and The Borgias have caught my interest lately.

Aside from just being a brilliant, hilarious, kickass episode in general, Chuck was inadvertently topical tonight. I say inadvertently because I'm sure these episodes are shot and filmed long before they actually air. There was a scene where someone mentioned target practice at a firing range and Casey pulled out a picture of Bin Laden with bulls eyes on it. Thought that was an interesting coincidence given the big news story of the moment
