I've heard a lot of people say this, but I didn't have much trouble at all. How does it compare in difficulty to Pilotwings SNES and N64, if you've played those?

Beating Diamond class is not the problem, getting "more than perfect" (Red stars) on ALL missions is a feat, for me at least.

It's A LOT more challenging than the older games.

(-_-) wrote:DW 5 was my favourite one. Is it still similar to those or is it more like the crazy Strike Force that came out. I haven't played anything past 5 and I'm looking for a new one to pick up. Strike force looks amusing and it has online co op.
It's a lot more like the older games than Strike Force was, but it retains some of the flashiness brought in by Strike Force (although definitely not to the same degree).

It's better than 6, and it has online co-op too.

So, Capcom vs SNK 2, just clocked Shin Akuma after an uncountable number of tries getting mauled, and got a perfect for my troubles.

I just beat Silent Hill 2 on PC for the first time (already completed it on ps2). I think my finishing time was around 3 hours and 35 minutes (playing on normal difficulty for riddle and combat). I can probably shave off that last 35 minutes the next time. I'll have to try the hard mode sometime.

Just finished Portal. Now I have Portal 2 preloaded, and I'm ready once it's released.

Bulletstorm. Single-player campaign is everything I like in a shooter - short but sweet, and leaves it nice and open for the inevitable sequel. I'm not a huge FPS fan at all, but something about Epic's games I just adore..

Picross 3D for the DS. Now, I just need to find a insecure internet signal to download the additional puzzle.

Just finished Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World today. Such a cool game, little on the short side but i guess thats how a retro beat 'em up should be.

Libraries are good for those.

Zelda - Oracle of Seasons, completely blew me away. Thanks to everyone who brought it up in the recent Wind Waker thread, it was so worth it and one of the best damn Zelda's I've played in years! I like how unconventional it kind of felt at times with all the seasons and the warps to that other world, etc. Not quite as traditional as other Zelda's, but still not overly complicated or anything. Definitely had some of the toughest boss fights I've ever seen in a Zelda too.

So yes, now I'm up to the third dungeon in Ages and loving it quite a bit as well. Feels a bit more simplistic, but that's not a bad thing. Can't help but compare it a bit to LTTP, heh.

If I have it in me to do three Zelda's back to back, I might finally play Link's Awakening DX as well after this. I imagine it'll be easy going back to that one after Seasons/Ages, but who knows. I played the original through several times back in the day, but have still never played through the colored DX version.

Ahhh, when Zelda's were about dungeon crawling. Gotta love it.
