absurd things in games
In Tennis Master Series 2003 (PC) the computer makes these amazing diving saves at the net when you crush a passing shot, but when you flip a slow one over the net to his forehand he flubs it into the net every time. Huh?

I think in most of the 2d mortal kombat games, the enemy AI is always a step ahead of you. Only way to bypass is play in a way where you glitch their AI that they fall for same move over and over again

In Tekken 5 or Tekken 5 DR if you pick Heiachi and play the computer in Arcade mode.
You can just keep doing down forward triangle which release a powerful punch move, which the enemy AI will 85% time get hit by it without even trying to block it.

In a game where touching stars make you flash rainbows, mushrooms make you grow large, green pipes sticking out of the ground transport you to new areas, clouds, hills, and everything else have eyes, and malicious turtles frequently kidnap human women... I never really bothered questioning how the blocks float.

And as far as absurd things in games?
Pretty much everything about Katamari Damacy. I honestly can't think of anything in that game that is normal.

I only discovered this game about an hour ago, haven't ceased shuddering since. Every bit I've seen of it just reeks of the most potent brand of creepiness.
