Yes, my whole family is OK. He, my sister, and their kids live pretty close to where Tuscaloosa got hit hardest, but were fortunately spared. A couple of blocks over from them, apparently everything was wiped out. They lost power and water, but I don't think their house was damaged too badly.

They were actually similarly affected by the tornado last week.

Wow, that is very terrible. It was on the news here in Canada even. It looks... bad.

Wrath, let us know how everything is when you get a chance.

The amount of tornado damage yesterday was ridiculous. They went as far north as Virgina. I think Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Virgina were all the states who got hit by the tornadoes.

Ack's in Nashville? It was pretty rough around there the other day.

His littlest brother is graduating from bootcamp in Kentucky (I think) this weekend, so he is traveling up there to see him off. Nashville had bad rain, almost flooded again like it did this time last year. But nothing terrible. My girlfriend works in Franklin and lives in Hampshire so I watch the weather up there like a hawk.

Water levels did get up to flood level but thankfully the rain has stopped. The water levels have been receding since this morning so everyone traveling on most major roads should be fine now.

Here's a link to the Tennessee death toll so far... :(

Anyway, I hope everyone is all right... Especially you, WrathOskvro. I hope you can get in touch with your family soon.

I saw this on the news and immediately thought of Ack. I'm glad he moved out of Tuscaloosa before this happened. I heard this went across multiple states though, so I hope all our racketboy members in those areas are doing ok and I feel bad for the people that were hit. :(

And yet this didn't make first page, which was occupied by the fucking "let's waste taxpayers' money" wedding.

Isn't it great how the mass media have their priorities straight? (irony)

This is starting to irritate me too. I don't watch TV or get the newspaper, so I have to rely on the Internet for news, and this bullshit is plastered all over every site I go to.
