I found something cool in the library...

This should be some fascinating reading:

A little more info about it here: http://books.google.com/books?id=6CJpAA ... bs_ViewAPI

I probably won't delve into it until a few weeks from now, but I'll report back what I find :)

Any chance anyone has seen it?

Closest thing to that I've ever found in my library was a book that talked about how they made the graphics for Medal of Honor: Frontline.

Believe it or not, I actually found a spined guidebook for Adventure Island 2 at my library many, many, MANY, years ago. It was mostly text, but it had little black and white pictures of all the levels. Ah, memories.

That looks like the kind of book I would find and buy, but then never read.

Last time I went I found a few old 80's game programming books (basic & pascal) with some cool hand-drawn pixel art on the front (nothing too interesting inside tho), a book on shinto history that explained the back-story of some of the bosses in Pocky&Rocky/Kiki KaiKai, but the weirdest thing I found was the purple sex-ed hand puppet my elementary teacher used with the ancient guide book on how to use it and a set of projector slides
