Just finished Nostalgia for the DS. ITs like Wildarms with elements of Skies of Arcadia. The ship battles were just too difficult.

Fallout 3 is definitely an RPG and IMO a very good game. It's not perfect by any means but if you haven't played it yet I would suggest that you do. I haven't played Ar Tonelico Qoga yet (Or any Ar Tonelico game for that matter) but it does look very good as well and I hope to buy it when I eventually get some money.

How good would you say this game is compared to the other SMT titles? Its one I have always been interested in, but never played.

It was actually one of my first snes pickups when I started collecting ~2 years ago, just never got around to trying it out.

I spent most of Saturday playing it.
Ooh man, I love this game. The music in the forest maze is so epic. Loved getting Bowser on your team way back then too. The paper mario games are neat, but I prefer this mario rpg by far

Where do you place the Mario & Luigi games in your ranking?

Those I actually really liked. Not as much as rpg, but that may be nostalgia.

Just beat FF1 PSP, now I am playing FFII & FFIV on PSP. After that I'll be hitting up FFIII on DS and FFV on GBA. I am on some old school FF binge. I'll end it with FFVI on either GBA or PSX.

That would actually make for a really interesting mechanic in an RPG system - the HP/MP/whatever stats fall the entire game, after every battle, etc. It could be a game where you start out at the end of a journey to slay some giant beast, and then have to grapple with some kind of life-draining poison/artifact/disease that requires medicine/tools of destruction/a doctor found only in your home country... So you start out super powerful fighting giant monsters and have to keep moving further away from its lair (fighting weaker and weaker enemies along the way) but still sustain enough energy to make it all the way home...

Has something similar been done?
