Good news for US gamers, but I'll give a pre-emptive 'fuck you' to Namco for when they fail to bring this to Europe, as they surely will.

Seems my curses were unfounded, as UK magazine NGamer has listed Tales of the Abyss for EU release in Spring 2012, and a NGamer staff member confirmed this news over at their forums;

"It surely does [mean it's being released in the EU]. I thought this had already been announced. Hope I haven't accidentally broken some top secret embargo!"

http://forums.computerandvideogames.com ... 24708#wrap

*edit, further confirmation;

"No it's definitely getting a Euro release. Spring 2012 is the date I was given - think they plan to announce a firm date at their upcoming conference (in two weeks)."

I don't think lisalover gives a damn.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Lol, I guess not.

Can a mod change the topic title to something a little more relevant?

You underestimate the power of raging fandom. 8)

I heard about this pretty much the moment it was announced, and I have already sent flowers and chocolates to Namco of America's president. I will be preordering it, along with Tales of Graces F, the moment a release date is announced, and order two of a single game if a special edition is announced for either. I have calmed down a lot about it since the announcement, but I assure you that this is what I looked like when I heard it:

...Which is more or less how I looked after the Tales of Graces F announcement:
