Check out the thread in the fighters section. You should be able to grab it off Pirate Bay though.

It's pretty awesome, the only thing keeping me from playing it more is that the only gamepad I have is kind of mediocre. So I have stopped playing it for the moment. This game would have been very popular as an Xbox Live Arcade title and probably would have won over critics too

I got it off of btjunkie. It's really a great game. If you have a Saturn USB controller, the experience is even better.

Apparently sega europe are taking whatever weak legal action they can against it? Because streets of rage has been such a valuable property to them for the last 15 years. . .
I have an idea, if sega wants to eliminate things that may be hurtful to their properties, why don't they take legal action against all the people making sonic furry porn? It'd be much more appreciated.

I'd love to see what law you'd prosecute them under.Jrecee wrote:Apparently sega europe are taking whatever weak legal action they can against it? Because streets of rage has been such a valuable property to them for the last 15 years. . .

Well as some people pointed out in the SoRR thread, they're still selling some of the Streets of Rage games on Steam and the likes, so I think that's why it's kind of a big deal to them. They were slightly lenient in a sense that they at least let them finish the project though, and now that it's out there... can't stop the internet.

...How did they lie or backstab? The team sent a letter to SEGA, and they ignored it. The team put the game up, SEGA asked them to take it down.SplashChick wrote:Lenient? More like backstabbing liers.
The end result is the same anyway, the game is widely available. I don't see any reason to be upset.
