PS2 Arcade Sticks

Post by BlackDS »

My dad is really into Midway's Greatest Arcade Hits, but He cannot stand using the standard controller. All of the Arcade sticks I've seen on ebay only have 1 joystick, does anyone know where I can get a PS2 Arcade stick with two joysticks? (I would like to spend less that 50 dollars if possible)

I have this - I lucked out and picked it up for $50 at a brick and mortar store a while back. Typically you don't see it for less than $75 - WHEN you do see it. These aren't the most common thing out there.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Only one I can think of is the Playstation Analog Joystick. There's one on ebay right now for $49.99 "buy it now".

Only few games support that one. I have two of those "Flight Sticks", not really an Arcade type of stick I think the BlackDS Dad is looking for.

Difficult to find, sometimes pops up on EBay, the BLAZE DUAL SHOCK. This stick has the perfect match to the Retro games with the Red Ball sticks. It can also be easily modded for Twin Stick use.

An undocumented feature
The PS1 version of Midway er PS1 Williams Collection has complete custom control capability. You can setup two Arcade sticks for Robotron all through the game menu. See link:

Grab that beautiful stick! The closest you can get to the feel and look of an 80s Arcade controller. The Red Ball very common in its day. Robotron does not get any better then this! Unless you actually have the original Arcade Cab that is.

Are there any games other than Robotron on Midway Arcade Treasures that would utilize dual joysticks?
