if the mini din to sat works like i think it would, could you use a usb to din to get a usb controller to work on the SS?

no . there is no driver for a usb controller .

usb is universal serial bus .

serial devices need drivers to work . a keyboard driver wouldn't be able to emulate the usb subsystem and supply a driver for the controller .

it's like how .. you can't plug a usb memory stick into a keyboard port on a pc
