any GameGenie SNES owners???

Post by shadowsonic »

I have a problem, how come you can't do multiple codes with gamegenie?
I was playing top gear 2 today, tried doing 2 codes but only 1 works how come?

I know cheating is lame but, im wondering why it doesn't except morethan 1 code at the same time?

I have a game genie for the snes but haven't used for a looooonnnnggggg time. But as I remember you just put the codes and it supposed to work all the codes you wrote. Where are you looking for the codes on the manuals or the internet? I have both manuals and some of them were incorrect when I looked it up in the internet where different and that worked for me. Only games that I used the game genie were Act Raiser 1 and 2 and still use them in emulators. I find those games hard as hell.

from the internet i don't have the manual, as for codes only the first code works like i say.
I turn the game off than turn it on again, all the codes i had entered were erased, aside of the one that worked. If that makes any sence?

Honestly no it doesnt make any sense. :?

The only thing that comes to mind is a defective product. Yesterday I dusted off mine (hehe) and tried it and worked like a charm with act raiser 2. The almost invincible code and the infinite magic one and both worked at the same time. Have you tried a different game? Maybe is Top Gear :?:

I would imagine that sometimes two codes might not work at the same time because of how the GameGenie works, but that would be very rare. Have you tried any two other codes?

What game and codes are you using? Does that also happen in emulators?

Codes i tried ...

C267-CD07 Infinite nitros for Player 1 *works*
C2CB-CF0F Infinite nitros for Player 2 * does not *
C9BD-1F04 Fuel never runs out * does not *
7430-398E 1st place gives $50,000 instead of $10,000 * does not *
7430-317E 2nd place gives $50,000 instead of $6,000 * does not *

might be top gear who knows, and when you say dusted what do you mean just cleaned it??

Yeah clean it. Mine was all green in the conectors I got a liquid or something I bought from an ebay seller when I ordered from him my 72 pin for the nes. It didnt smell like alcohol so I tried it with all my games and all work correctly and that was like 4 or 5 years ago. Try with alcohol to see if it works just remember to wipe it of with a cotton swab and wait a little until its dried.
