Messiah Generation NEX System and Controllers Review

Post by Satoshi_Matrix »

Not really a game review per say, but related.

Here's a quick look at the Generation NEX Famiclone from 2005, as well as all three controllers Messiah made including the wired, wireless, and arcade stick. This is what happens if I make a video without a script. Enjoy and feel free to leave questions and comments.

Why did you post the same thing in two different boards?

great review!

I am also an owner of this system! I bought this with some of my Tax return when it came out back then.

I like to use this system all the time, cause I was getting tired of using the old RF plug to use on my tv! Using the A/V is better.

I like using this console for my most pristine games, cause I find some dirty games sometimes and I dont wanna mess it up.

The systems supposedly had a lifetime warranty but that does not exist anymore

I really liked the manuals for the system, It looks like an Nes game. Its fun looking at the rarity guide that came with it, just to see how much the prices of the rarer games are compared from back then to now.

just be careful when you remove the games cause I kinda cracked the front black area next to the controller inputs when I removed a game once. And the back black part is kinda loose on mine now. Cheap glue?

I dont know if the plastic inside was meant to wear out eventually or not, but removing the games is kinda hard. Will use over time wear out the plastic holding the games to the console? Making it easier?

maybe its just the retro in me but I really do prefer the original controllers on it.

I'm not a stickler for 100% gameplay/graphics accuracy tho. They play fine in my opinion.

keep them reviews comming mr. matrix
