What platformer are you playing now?

Re: What platformer are you playing now?
I managed to beat MegaMan X last week. The game was quite easy for me up until the final 3 Sigma battles. I don't have much of a problem with the platforming, and I managed to accidentally beat half of the bosses without the proper counter weapon. That spider boss in Sigma's castle kicked my ass a couple of times until it finally just clicked and now I can beat him with a single health bar every time.
I thought Sigma's castle was annoying in that you have to fight through it each time you enter the password to attempt to beat the game. After I had gone through it once I could pretty much get to the final Sigma battles each time on one life, so it just felt like a chore. And it was especially annoying to have to farm from those damn worms on the wall just to fight the dog and Sigma only to die on the final form and have to repeat all over again.
Overall I really enjoyed the game though. I think I'll go back and play MegaMan 2 the next time I feel the itch for a Megaman game again. But I've got a ton of other platformers to play right now. I'm playing through Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland and a ton of other games at the moment.

A-B-P. A-always, B-be, P-platforming. Always be platforming! Always be platforming!!

You know, about a month ago I wanted to run through it again, but I made the mistake of watching the intro. It was so cheesy, and brought back so many memories of the parts of Sonic Adventure that I don't like that I took the disc out and played Rayman 2 instead.BRIK wrote:Playing Sonic Adventure at the moment on the Dreamcast. Sonic Advance - a surprisingly good game.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Just started playing through Crash Bandicoot 2. Somehow, in the 8 years I've owned a PS1, I never played it.
