Yep, but you know Sony will screw that up some how... I'm betting $5 it'll be called the PS2Pnoiseredux wrote:yeah I hope they come to their senses. I hate to say it, but PSP2 is way more logical.

If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

It'll probably be called the PS3P if anything.avrame wrote:Yep, but you know Sony will screw that up some how... I'm betting $5 it'll be called the PS2Pnoiseredux wrote:yeah I hope they come to their senses. I hate to say it, but PSP2 is way more logical.
IF you want a better screen get a PSP2000, that's why they are expensive. If you don't care about having a shitty interlaced screen that suffers from a lot of ghosting and artefacts get the cheap and nasty PSP3000. Personally I'd just get a PSP1000, they're super cheap and honestly, how often are you going to use the extra features that the PSP3000 has? Plus they're trivial to install a complete CFW on (no need to fanny around with a homebrew enabler every time your battery dies. Trust me, your battery is going to die, a lot).
Avoid the PSPGO at all costs unless you like piracy and only wish to have access to 60% of the library should you wish to go legit and buy your games through PSN (you'd have to be absolutely crazy to do that though. Nobody in their right mind would buy PSP games through PSN when they're 25% of the price at retail).

Not to mention that the PSP 1k is much more comfortable for adult size hands.Niode wrote:It'll probably be called the PS3P if anything.avrame wrote:Yep, but you know Sony will screw that up some how... No matter what PSP you get though, be sure to get the extended battery kit. I get about 7 hours out of it with my PSP 1k depending on what I'm playing. They're super cheap on ebay now as well.

I'd like one of these for when I go on vacation in September... how much are they going for these days?RyaNtheSlayA wrote: No matter what PSP you get though, be sure to get the extended battery kit. I truly wonder, how long sony will allow you redownload your games on PSN. Forever? 2 years after the PS4 comes out? If they vowed forever as long as sony is in the video game business i would be more interested in doing digital downloads.
I really like the $6 psone classics i could put on the PSP, EVEN THOUGH, i currently have quite a few psone games on CD (black label). Wish I could rip that ISO and put them onto the PSP. and my ps3.

I bought mine for 25 bucks new off eBay. They appear to be getting even cheaper.noiseredux wrote:I'd like one of these for when I go on vacation in September... how much are they going for these days?RyaNtheSlayA wrote: No matter what PSP you get though, be sure to get the extended battery kit. Re: NGP vs PSP-3000
yes, with the 3000. You can just rip yr PS1 discs and turn them into eboots. It's really easy, and kind of awesome that you're just using yr own actual game instead of downloading ISO's.env963 wrote:And is it safe to assume that I can do that even with the PSP-3000? I may have to hack this thing. LOL
Re: NGP vs PSP-3000
Yep works well. However, for multi-disc games, I don't mind paying $6 for a nice package of the PSN. I love how the ff8 of PSN is only 1 GB, heck of alot better than 4 500 MB eboots.
