I get games in UMD format as much as I can, but if the game is just for under USD $10, I wouldn't mind downloading from the PSN.

The PSP has some fantastic games. I like the PSP because it has fighting games, something that you really can't say about the DS 8) I don't even know of one fighting game on the DS that exists or is nearly as good as games like Street Fighter Alpha 3, Darkstalkters, Blazblue and Tekken. Not to mention whats on those compilation games from SNK and Capcom.

Plus if you like RPGs there are some really great games on the PSP as well, though so does the DS. But I own both so i get the best of both worlds :D
NES, SNES, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GCN, Wii, PS3, 360, GB, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, PSP 3000, and 3DS XL

I really like the DSi a lot more than the PSP. Although both are good, I find that most of the game sequels I grew up on were released for the DS. That alone is more than enough reason to pick up the DS.

I go through phases of love for the psp. I'll get a few games I'll play obsessively on it and then I won't touch the thing for months at a time. Monster Hunter 2 was the biggest time sink. I can't even begin to describe how amazing incredibly fun multiplayer is for that game. Then portable ops. I also loved Daxter and the God of War games on it. There are quite a few really amazing titles on it. Right now I'm in love with Parasite Eve 3rd birthday. PE2 was my most played game on ps1. I have waited like 10 years for a sequel. While it's not quite what I wanted, it's an awesome and addictive game nonetheless. So many things to do with the little machine.

Yeah, I find unique games and sequels to other games that lure me to the ds more than psp. Not to say that I don't like the psp, but most games are games we've seen before and doesn't bring alot to the table, whereas the ds adds a twist to an existing formula an makes a feature convenient during gameplay.

I did a little write up on a few really good Japanese ones here.

I would just list them in the thread, but that would seem redundant since I have everything typed out there already.
