I have a walkman in my car that I plug into the aux jack so I can listen to the miami vice soundtrack I bought at goodwill.

I used to have an old '91 Corolla handed down to me that only had a cassette player. I had to use a converter thing that I plugged into the slot with my CD player.

That was until it got sat on by a school bus. :(

Shame, it was still a pretty good vehicle. Now I drive a Saturn!

Cassette decks were only finally phased out of cars completely a few months ago:

I have, and never will like tapes.
They're such a pain in the ass. I like to be able to go straight to a song, not after a minute of fast forwarding.

I still use cassettes fairly often. Mostly because I have a pretty big collection of them from when I was a kid.

I used to use cassettes alot back when I drove more often (as my Buick had no CD player or the like-just cassette) but then I got a cassette thingy for my ipod and as Homer Simpson would say "and that's the end of that chapter."

Strangely enough I have kind of been collecting them the past couple months.

I look at it like, a cheap and easy way to get good music!

The only use for cassettes is for analogue 4 track recorders. I definitely wouldn't bother listening to music on them.
