Isnt the price inflated on magical chase?

Post by Backintime »

I remember reading on other classic gaming message boards on the price of magical chase is pretty artificial (eh I had a similar experience with Earthbound) cause someone buys up all the copies and jacks up the price of the game believe it or not , one user does that on ebay but I hardly recall his name as its been years since I read this story.

Im just really bringing it up cause I really dont believe magical chase is worth $500 or that it costs as much as my metal slug 3. I remember local places atleast selling it for around $50 bucks, I just feel like the net bought into that scammers lie.

It can be had for much cheaper than $500, but yes, the price is inflated due to rarity, demand, and hoarding.

A few years ago a sealed copy landed on ebay for $300, so yes, it can be found cheaper. Sadly, it's all about bragging rights- so there are more than enough people out there who WANT to drop an assload on rares.
