I pretty much always favor original console versions over handheld ports. It's not like I ever really take my handhelds anywhere anyways, so yeah I'll always take the controller/TV over that anyday.

I think you've just named the reason why the Gameboy Player gets so much love around here. I love that damn thing. I don't even have a portable GBA anymore. The Gameboy Player is all I need.

Didn't even know they had a gbc version of donkey kong country. They should have just updated the land games to color instead.

They are in color. They were intended to be played on a Super Gameboy, which can display color. They are also in color if they are played on a GBC or GBA.
