Which do you prefer more: Donkey Kong Country GBC or GBA?

Also, what's your preference on the various DS portables?

they're both good. The GBA port is pretty damn close to the SNES original. The GBC version is a nice example of the GBC's hardware (think of it like successfully running the SNES game on a NES).

The GBC version to me feels like: "I wish they hadn't done that."

SNES>GBA>GBC is the ranking I've heard most often. Besides, the SNES controller is more comfortable than either Gameboy.

I only played the GBA version, but I hated it because I had the original GBA.

The only thing the original got wrong is the screen. I wish, I WISH they had updated the screen and left the form factor alone. The SP is so cramped! I just recently started playing GBA on my PSP, and it's just great. No hand cramping, big screen .. heaven. I bought (and loved) the Micro on day one, but at the end of the day the screen is too small for a lot of games, and even though they got the form factor right, it's a bit too small to be comfortable.

The PSP is the perfect GBA, lol.

Agree the GBA SP buttons are close together.

Fair point -- I used to carry the Micro everywhere I went in my purse..

..but now I have a bigger purse.
