With the help of racketboy and AtariAge I was able to find out the information I needed. Thank you everybody!
I recently acquired a Sega Saturn cart and I can't find any information on it anywhere. It is Japanese, white, and says 13 in 1. Model number is XH-08. There is also a switch on it. Here is a great big picture so you can see some detail.
Reply if you know any info about it. I have two carts (this one and a ST Key) and I only need one that allows you to play imports. If you are interested in buying this one I am up for offers. I already know the ST Key allows import play.

It's one of those game specific carts I'm guessing, a lot of fighters came paired with their own RAM cart. It probably does the usually things (4MB RAM, storage, region bypass) and maybe some other funky stuff.

Knock off Pro Action Replay.
Re: Sega Saturn Cart - What does it do?
yeah the pocket fighter logo is misleading, pocket fighter did not come with its own mem. card, IIRC. the "13 IN 1" and other cheap, silly logos lead me to believe that emwearz is right.

Actually, I think this is just a Power Save.. err.. basic Memory Card.
If it is just a basic memory card, it should support direct-saving. I'd be curious if it doesn't.
But if it is indeed a multi-function, well... weird looking multi-function. (frrrosty3 sounds like they know about multi-function carts).

My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.
