Just saw that a member here had a 14th birthday today

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Just saw that a member here had a 14th birthday today

Post by BoringSupreez »

The user was yosh. I didn't know we had anyone here younger than 15 or 16. To think, a Racketboy member who grew up watching Ed Edd and Eddy. And, just out of curiosity, what is the minimum age here on Racketboy?

Hey, I grew up watching that. :P

If Racket follows COPPA (which he should), then minimum age is 13.

Well, when I said "growing up" I meant like 7 and under. I probably should have used a different phrase. By the time you were watching that, you were 10 or 11 I would imagine.

And I find it funny that there would be users on a site whose motto is "Gaming like it's 1999" who can't actually remember that year. Not that remembering 1999 is the ticket required to be a retro gamer.

I was 14 when I joined. Not much has changed, I still make a complete fool of myself.
Older. Not wiser.

No, I was around seven when I watched that. That would've been 1999, so yeah, that sounds right.

I thought the child-privacy act said something along the lines of 14 after some social-networking site was crushed because of it?
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Yeah, Xanga was fined $1 million for breaking it. And it's under the age of 13.

Believe me, if there is any law that I know a lot about, it's this one.

Long story, involving a ban at another forum and my quest for revenge.

Also, since I run a forum, I feel it's only right that I follow the law and don't have to pay these exorbitant fines.
