Need Help With Metroid: Zero Mission
Re: Need Help With Metroid: Zero Mission
Its the room below the chozo statue and above a save room on that map right? If I remember correctly the floor in the vertical room right before the slug room can be bombed to proceed.

Well, yes and no. Yes, there is a bombable block in the floor right next to the door, but it only leads to a missile block which can only be reached with the morph ball. Can you try it on your copy of the game to see what I'm doing wrong?MrHealthy wrote:Its the room below the chozo statue and above a save room on that map right? I did this just a while back. You can shoot it from below with the wave beam... I think.
Did you kill the one that moves when you shoot it?
Im still stuck on the damn moth boss. D:

I haven't gotten the wave beam yet. From what i understand, there are two of these things. This is the first and only one I have encountered so far.Dup wrote:I did this just a while back. You can shoot it from below with the wave beam... I think.

Wait, so whats stopping you from just grabbing the missle tank and dropping down to the next door then? Because those slugs are supposed to be attack from the other side, after doing a long ass loop around to them.

That's a shinespark.irixith wrote:There are some really nasty sections of the game (all completely optional) that will test your special move skills. Those speed blocks are likely one of those spots. Search around in the adjoining rooms for a place where you can get up to speed -- once you do, you have to quickly hold down to "hang on" to your speed boost -- then you have to get over to that area where you can't build up speed and use the speed you're "hanging on to".lisalover1 wrote:Just tried bombing literally every single surface in every area of the room I could. I did notice that there was a trio of Speed Boost blocks in the adjacent room, but you don't have nearly enough room to speed up to break them.
Sound hard?
IT IS.
I screamed so loud in frustration trying to do those parts that I couldn't speak for an entire week afterwards.

I'll make a video of what I am doing, and then upload it, so you can see what I may be doing wrong.MrHealthy wrote:Wait, so whats stopping you from just grabbing the missle tank and dropping down to the next door then? Is there a reason why you're not looking at a walkthrough to get your answer? There have been a bunch made for this game:

Because they are only text and are often very difficult to find exactly what you need in specific situations like this.gtmtnbiker wrote:Is there a reason why you're not looking at a walkthrough to get your answer? There have been a bunch made for this game:
