I am mildly interested in this game. If anyone where has it, please let me know what you think of it. I played the Japanese version years ago, but only for a couple of hours. I want a new RPG for my PSP, so my sights are on this game. The story doesn't have to be super deep or engaging, I am just looking for typical JRPG entertainment.
Thanks in advance!

It's not like you can't play it in English.
I've heard very good things about this game though. If you like Falcom's games, you probably can't go wrong.

I'm playing through the game right now and I honestly could not recommend it enough. Everything about the game is top tier RPG material.
The best thing about the game so far is the world, it's extremely fleshed out with unique characters everywhere. It's amazing to see a JPRG where every NPC has their own small stories that play out in the midst of the overarching plot.
For example in the first town you go to, there is a house with a mother and a daughter. They talk about how they wish their father would come home from the mine. You can see a little more of their relationship develop every time considering that after every story event, every NPC get's a new batch of dialog. Eventually the father shows up and you can't help but smile.
The game is very charming and anyone with even a passing interest in the game should check it out.

I've been looking at this one too. The story line sounds promising, and the gameplay looks to be fun.

Anybody have a review or something to say about the game yet?
Re: Trails In The Sky PSP
if you liked the old school rpgs with a rather epic story, I wouldn't see how you can go wrong with this game.
