Can someone explain how RemotePlay works?

I don't really get it. I got my PS3 and PSP to sync by going to Network>RemotePlay on both. But then what? How do I proceed. I don't really get it.

It only works on certain games. Very few games actually work and to be honest. It's a complete waste of time. The lag is fairly high considering it's running on your network. Forget about trying to use it from outside of your network, the lag is unbearable.
