OMG nearly $800 USD. That is totally insane and what a waste of money. They paid more for a selfed game boy then a brand new PS3. This makes no sense to me when you could by one used or use emulation. I find it utterly disgusting that some one would pay that much just to have a factory sealed Gameboy. Man, even Neo Geo doesn't sell for that high of a price and it is the most expensive retro console of all time.
The buyer will obviously be happy with it as an investment and conversation piece. He'd have to be insane to actually unwrap it and play it. People do this all the time.retro_gammer79 wrote:OMG nearly $800 USD. That is totally insane and what a waste of money. They paid more for a selfed game boy then a brand new PS3. I think what some of you fail to take into account is the size of some folks bank accounts. Your own expenditures sicken the citizens and comrades of India and China every day, but you probably feel fairly comfortable with spending $25 on a game. It's all relative.
Let my legs shake me to sleep, and don't wake me when I sweat on my sheets.

Of course when we speak, we speak relative to us, the regular American, not millionaires who have money to burn. Two dollars is still two dollars anywhere you go. Of course I can't be sure now since the freakin' dollar is so weak. I'd never would've imagine the day when the US dollar is worse than the Canadian dollar.wyatt wrote:I think what some of you fail to take into account is the size of some folks bank accounts.
