Have you ever found a game you've reserved disappointing?

I don't think I've ever reserved a game because I never pay full price for games, even if I really want them. If I had the money I might because sometimes you can get cool stuff, but most of the time im broke. Mainly because I wait so long to get the new games they are dirt cheap and i can get a stack of them
NES, SNES, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GCN, Wii, PS3, 360, GB, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, PSP 3000, and 3DS XL

I don't think I've ever paid full price for a game either. I've never once had a problem with buying used, and if it's cheaper, than why would I want to pay full price for it? The only time I get new games is if they're presents or drastically on sale.Betamax001 wrote:I don't think I've ever reserved a game because I never pay full price for games, even if I really want them. So yeah. Never been disappointed since I don't reserve. I'm too cheap after all. New games are just too expensive. Always have been. Perhaps that's why I like retro gaming so much. For the price of something new (I'll lowball and say $50), depending on the system/games, I can get between 2-(add amount given for amazing find here).

There were some with full soundtracks like the one that came with Silent Hill Shattered Memories. There were soundtrack selections (a mixed disc essentially) that came with games like Radiant Historia, Ys Seven, and The Dark Spire. And then you have a bare bones disc with like 3 songs on it; Chrono Trigger on DS comes to mind.JokermanJohnny wrote:Quick question: were there any recent games that came along with soundtracks for preordering them?
So yeah. A lot of games are coming with soundtracks still. It seems like most of them are rpgs though.

I do remember ordering a single-disk soundtrack for Okami from eBay that may or may have not been a preorder bonus over in Japan. When I got the soundtrack and listened to it, it didn't even have all the songs on it. This might convince me to go out and buy the entire 5-disc soundtrack... if it weren't selling for $60+ right now. Even though I didn't get a complete soundtrack, I'm at least grateful I got something at all.Opa Opa wrote:There were some with full soundtracks like the one that came with Silent Hill Shattered Memories.
