Favorite Game Intro Themes

All of the Gran Turismo games have great intros. I always watch them all the way through whenever I play. GT1 has the best one. That long build-up, then the GT logo exploding with the sounds of exhausts roaring.

Mega Man 3 is in my opinion unparalleled in this category.

Damn that brings me back. iirc, the intro actually changed by adding new characters, etc. into the scenes depending on your progress in the game.

The second disc has it's own anime intro and theme song. It's also pretty good. The original Wild Arms has a great intro theme too.

GT1, GT5p, and MegaMan 2 have my favorite video game intros.

i LOVE the theme music (and the game select music) from the Konami Antiques MSX Collection for saturn (i presume it's the same on psone also). i would pull it out and put it in my cd player from time to time.

i like the gunstar heroes theme also.

I still get goosebumps sometimes when I see the Mega Man 2 intro. That's probably the geekiest thing I've admitted in a long while.
