Last Chance to Reason Level 2-free demo

Post by Pabstblueribbon »

Yeah, I know I've posted about this before a while ago but this deserves another thread, especially with there being a demo out.

Heres the deal: The prog metal band Last Chance to Reason just released their new album Level 2 today. Along with it comes a demo for the game they have coming out of the same name. The game is a shoot em up/platformer, and the entire game is based around the album-everything that happens is based on the timing of the album, enemies scream/sing lyrics at you, the game changes pace at the appropriate time, etc. Here is a link with more info, the download link, and a few videos of the game.

I highly, HIGHLY suggest everyone on this forum give the game a chance, metal fan or not. The game is very retro and reminds me of the 16 bit era with a lot of other cool stuff too.

This looks really interesting, I love the concept. I actually really dig the music too, definitely up my alley in terms of musical taste. I sometimes imaging games like this when I listen to metal, especially with actions syncing up to events in the music. The idea has a lot of potential. I think I'll support them and give the demo a try.
A-B-P. A-always, B-be, P-platforming. Always be platforming! Always be platforming!!

I don't think you'll be let down man. I'm really curious to see what everyone on this forum thinks about it. I love this style of music and I love this style of game, so the two together like this just makes perfect sense to me.
