Seeing as how I bought that specific version with the intention of playing against dudes here... I just want to make sure they all plan on keeping theirs now.

If I'm not mistaken, SSFIV players can play with SSFIV:AE players.

That's correct, they're planning on making the two compatible, you just wouldn't be able to play as the new characters if you only have SSFIV.

yeah I figured she wouldn't be there, but you never know if crossovers will occur in these special editions. Anyway, sounds like I have on reason to check out the upgrade.

Gen was supposed to be dead too but that didn't stop them from putting him in. Need I also mention Gouken? SF4 doesn't give a rat's ass about story and continuity.

I'll definitely check it out on release. I need to now decide whether to get it as DLC or another physical disc since I already have SF IV and SSF IV.
