Can I give this place a negative rating because they spam the hell out of craigslist?

Yeah, add that to their ridiculously high prices and weird card-based browsing system and you have yourself a shitty game store.

Brand new shop based in Birmingham. There isnt much of the inventory on the website yet, but the actual shop has a lot more. Not just the usual PS1 sports titles either, thye have some harder to find in the wold stuff for sale too. The prices are very reasonable, checked a few against ebay and they seem to beat the average ebay price in most cases. I've been chatting to the owners and they seem like cool people.

Also, if enough people 'like' their facebook page they are offering a discount code - http://www.facebook.com/thegameruk

I can't say I ever buy games from them (same problems: you can't see what you're buying until they grab it from behind the counter and everything is about $5 more than it should be). I'm there from time to time since I live nearby, but I usually only come away with some cheap manuals and NES sleeves.

I was pretty impressed with Game On Plus in Davison MI. Didn't have a huge selection, but did have some quality games that I haven't seen anywhere else. Prices were comparable to Disc Replay, which is saying a lot. Plus they have a permanent "buy 2 get one free" deal. I haven't looked at the Game On Plus in Flint yet - has anyone else?

CD/Game Exchange [Silver Spring]:
8236 Georgia Avenue
Silver Spring, MD
301-495-0766

First, I just wanted to give a +1 to the Silver Spring CD/Game Exchange. They have a decent sized selection of games ranging from Atari 2600/NES to modern systems like Wii/PS3/360. I came away with a NeoGeo Pocket Color and 5 games for a decent price, which I thought was a cool find in stores.

CD/Game Exchange [College Park]:
4433 Lehigh Rd
College Park, MD
301-887-1370

The College Park location does not exist anymore, so it should be removed from the list. However, they have a new location in Frederick, MD and it is as follows:

CD/Game Exchange [Frederick]:
151 N. Market St,
Frederick, MD 21701
301-644-1166

-1 because they willingly take bug infested game consoles (as in they openly admitted they do not check for those things. The most they do is wipe it down on the outside and that's it.) They sold me a disgusting bug infested Genesis. Didn't know it was bug infested until I started having some issues with mine and I took it apart. Read more about that here: http://wrath.digimantis.com/blog/sega-c ... k-failure/

The in-store clerk also was quite rude to me and assumed I didn't know what I was talking about, when he um..well, made an ass out of himself in the end.
Going through deleting inactive accounts of mine as a security precaution. No hard feelings, but admins, if it is possible to delete this account, please do so. Thanks in advance!

FYI: I tried out "CCgaming" in GA a few months back. The employee's i ran into weren't very knowledgeable (and ignored you the best they could) and they really didn't have too much. They had some retro systems, but not much in terms of actual games for older systems. Seems about on par with a play n trade. Not worth the drive if you don't live close IMO.

Big news, fellow Racketeers: I am currently in the process of making a full website for this list. I will include a better content submission system, user reviews of shops, voting on shop quality, and I will also be launching the Arcade List on the new site. I will still keep this lost here on Racketboy updated, but my focus will be on the new website, mostly. Some other features I hope to add to the site are the ability to select multiple stores, and have Google Maps chart out the best route between them, and maybe Facebook integration, if there is enough demand for it.

Looking forward to it. But can you keep the OP update too, a very handy easy to print bloatfree list!
