Just beat Pilotwings Resort (Diamond class). That was a tough game!
Re: What was the last game you finished?
Just completed Enslaved for PS3. Not sure how I feel about the ending. I'm now a little worried for the new Devil May Cry game the studio is supposed to be making. I was totally ok with whatever they did after playing Heavenly Sword. Now I'm not sure. Enslaved suffers from a lot of technical problems and a lack of polish. A lot of the animations are kind of shitty, there is weird graphical issues, screen tearing, frame rate drop, the characters float above the ground. It was pretty disappointing considering the characters were awesome and the world interesting to be in. It felt like all of the ideas were there but they rushed the shit out of it and delivered an incomplete game. The platforming requires no thought. The combat is interesting but not great. I expect that they'll be able to do something interesting with Devil May Cry's narrative but now I'm a bit worried about the quality of the actual game. Heavenly Sword had some technical issues but nowhere near enough for me to remember them, or interrupt my experience as much as they did in Enslaved.
In any case, it was worth the 15$ I paid for it, but I definitely wouldn't have picked it up at full price.

I've heard a lot of people say this, but I didn't have much trouble at all. How does it compare in difficulty to Pilotwings SNES and N64, if you've played those?
Re: What was the last game you finished?
I recently beat the SP portion of Call of Duty: Black Ops on the PS3. A decent story overall, but not as good (or as long!) as some of the others.
I am about to dive into Dragon Age: Ultimate Edition on the PS3 next. I picked that up yesterday for $12 on clearance at Target and have been wanting to play it for a while now, I was just waiting to get it for less than $20

I just finished all of the story modes in Dynasty Warriors 7. Pretty solid DW title, best one in awhile (not counting other Musou titles).

X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse for SNES. I played it a million times as a kid, but I could never get past Magneto. Well I finally beat Magneto tonight after popping it in and playing for the first time in forever. Turns out he's the last guy to fight. That is one freaking short game. If it wasn't so dang fun to play, so pretty to look at, and so great sounding I might have been pissed.

Surprisingly enough, I'll be playing it again. Need to keep an eye out for spoons this time...

Recently completed Half Life 2: Episode 2.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.

I highly suggest you do. It's well worth the effort for the ending you'll unlock.

Yeah. It was pretty unfortunate. I assume the xbox version is better, but I don't know by how much.
DW 5 was my favourite one. Is it still similar to those or is it more like the crazy Strike Force that came out. I haven't played anything past 5 and I'm looking for a new one to pick up. Strike force looks amusing and it has online co op.
