Yuck indeed. The bad taste is still in my mouth...

You guys seem to be enjoying this a lot though. I might have to give it a download, I'm actually surprised I haven't yet.

One such game exists. It originated in Korea. It is a 2D spirte based beat-em-up MMORPG called Dungeon Fighter Online.

Honestly, it is the most fun game I have ever played in my life. It also happens to be free. It is one of those Korean style F2P games that has a cash shop. Definitely give it a try and you will probably fall in love.

I have a friend that's legitimately addicted to Dungeon Fighter. He's spent hundreds of micros, played for probably 1000+ hours, and he often pops in and out of the top 10 Slayers in Arena. He's in the top 20 right now.

15 years huh? Actually the latest beat em up I have in M.A.M.E. goes back to '04, though it's more of a hack n slash, and never left Japan, and still isn't completely accurate in the video/audio department...

Character name? I may have heard of him.

I am addicted to DFO as well. I play a few hours everyday after work. I have 5 max level characters.

... shit, I watched the trailer and that game scares me. It looks amazing. SoRR has already been addicting enough these past two days, so ... maybe I'll give that game a shot and get sucked in. haha

So yeah according to my stats I've already played SoRR for ~8 hours in two days and I don't think it counts actual "completed" runs, but it says I've played it 18 times. I have beaten it a lot though.

If you're a fan of the series brunoafh, you're going to love this. The most over the top epic love letter to us SoR fans indeed. You get money for completing the game and there's tons of unlockables to buy, from characters, to cheats, to extras, to other modes, a editor I haven't even touched yet, etc. So yeah... that's the addicting part, heh. And all these replays have been consistently fresh and interesting, with so many branching paths, 4 routes to choose from at the start... it's basically SoR 1-3 combined, remixed, and with even more. Has enemies from every game plus new ones. It's so amazing. The remixed music is incredible, Gecko Yamori kicks ass! My jaw hit the floor when I realized he did a lot of the music on this.

I have to say Shiva is an absolute beast. I've cleared Normal a few times with him now without using continues, so I might up it to Hard and give it a shot.

Ok, sold. That's amazing. How do I download this exactly?

Well I just looked around forever myself and apparently they've run into trouble with SEGA at the moment or something, so there's no official downloads anymore from them as of now... you might have to try and find it elsewhere (think I saw some torrents). I don't think I have the installer around myself anymore to upload. :?

That really sucks and is another low blow from a big dev/publisher.

^ I wouldn't be concerned, the moment I heard that the downloads had been removed I went and downloaded it. You can Google it easily enough.

I was able to grab a torrent. I didn't realize it was now contraband, haha. It would be kind of cool if SEGA's reaction means they have some SoR stuff in the pipeline though.
