How do you keep track of your collection?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I use a MySQL database that I created and a quick and dirty PHP front end to insert and delete records. I am currently trying to make it more iphone friendly.

Right now I use Backloggery...

But I'll probably move over to the Racketboy database once it's up. :D

I mainly used it to see how my own ratings stacked up against editors and other users, and to find out the alleged worth of my collection, which ended up being over $8,000. I thought it was pretty cool honestly.
How did you add games into the IGN collection data base?I signed up but cant figure out how to add my games?
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

I have a list of all my games/consoles/accessories on my IPod Touch's note app. Easy to edit and I carry my iPod with me all the time.

I recently decided I'll use backloggery for everything I'm playing. By this, I mean downloads, hacks, emulation, etc, stuff I might not own. But as for catalogging what I actually own, I've used IGN for the longest time but I've gotten kind of tired of it over the years. That section of the site runs slower and slower by the year and gets more cluttered, takes forever to manage, etc.

I'll probably "import" my list over to rfgeneration or something eventually.
