I've been meaning to track down that PS1 GITS game, the PS2 one is really awesome as well honestly.

Danger Girl which I never see on any list???? It has that Syphon Filter feel to it and is really a "hidden gem" I had a good time playing it and personally found it to have better controls than Syphon Filter games.

Epidemic is another game I rarely hear anyone talk about and is another game I would say should be qualified as a "hidden gem". I will say this game isn't for everyone but is well worth a try!
My only complaint is very minor, I don't like how the map works

The ps2 one is one of my favourite games on the system. It just so good to play.Xeogred wrote:I've been meaning to track down that PS1 GITS game, the PS2 one is really awesome as well honestly.

Re: PS1 "hidden gems"
Considering I only paid $2 for it, I always enjoyed Eternal Eyes. Granted, i wouldn't try to compare it to a fully-budgeted srpg like Final Fantasy Tactics, but I still enjoyed it for a while.
I wouldn't call it a "Hidden Gem" per se, as it made Greatest Hits, but Legend of Dragoon has to be one of the most underrated rpgs on the console. I really enjoyed the game.

I couldn't get into Legend of Dragoon honestly, due to the battle system.

I can understand that. Being a drummer, I love beat games, so it was right up my alleyXeogred wrote:I couldn't get into Legend of Dragoon honestly, due to the battle system.

As was Shadow Hearts. I freaking love that game.
Re: PS1 "hidden gems"
I'm not too sure about that, I actually find that Legend of Dragoon is quite well known. Many of my non-RPG playing friends that wouldn't even think of setting foot anywhere near a Final Fantasy game, played it and loved it. It has a strange kind of wide appeal, and it's pretty much universally praised.dunpeal2064 wrote:Legend of Dragoon has to be one of the most underrated rpgs on the console. I really enjoyed the game.
I agree with you on the battle system though, I play instruments and am heavily into music myself, and I loved the battle system.

Fair point, it always felt like an underrated game, but it seems to have quite a fanbasebrunoafh wrote:I'm not too sure about that, I actually find that Legend of Dragoon is quite well known. A prequel would be awesome
