I'll definitely look into it.

You're gonna love jumpin jack flash on sweatin'. Trust me XD.

Also, good stuff. EBA is one of my favourite DS games, but if anything, I'd rate Rhythm Heaven even higher, which should inform you of its quality. I love both those games though, its nice to have a rhythm game that isnt press the button as the note passes that bar (even though I like rhythm games like this too - The DS game jam with the band is excellent).

In fact, import jam with the band too, its awesome (or the Japanese equivalent, Daigasso Band Brothers DX). 3 amazing rhythm games (5 including all the ouendans) on one handheld. Pretty good going if you ask me.

Yeah, looping at least once. Otherwise, it's impossible to beat some of these, considering they technically never end.

3. 3/27 - Megaman X (SNES)
4. 3/31 - Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land

6. 4/07 - Donkey Kong Returns (Wii)

I stayed home sick today so I decided to finish off Donkey Kong Returns. Damn is this game challenging. A few levels and bosses cost me quite a few lives. This is hardcore timing and accuracy platforming at it's finest. The game is hard as nails, but when you die it is your fault. Keep practicing and you'll get past that "impossible" part of the game. The final levels and boss really tried my patience, but I kept getting better and farther until I finally beat him. Getting 100% in the game would be another story. There are so many collectables, and 3 different completion criteria to get in most levels. Each world has an unlockable challenge level that you only get by collecting KONG letters in every level in that world. When you beat all of the challenge levels you unlock a presumably even harder level/world. Getting all this would take presumably quite a long time and get progressively more and more frustrating. I'm just going to leave the game as it is, beat at 84% completion. It was a hard enough game as it was.

All of that said, I thoroughly enjoyed the game, it's a class A platformer with great graphics, presentation and music. A must play for Donkey Kong Country and platformer fans.
A-B-P. A-always, B-be, P-platforming. Always be platforming! Always be platforming!!

Finally completed Harvester, but I used the all weapons cheat and health restore cheat, albeit right before the final room in the third level in The Lodge. Saved right before I made my choice. Watched one ending and then tried to watch the other but it stopped after a few seconds and went straight to the credits.

Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies Wii
Total: 22

Billy Hatcher was a game I wanted to love, but didn't. The concept was fun, and the egg rolling mechanics were pretty well done, but the game was full of annoyances that served to ruin and affection I had towards the game. First off, it's a platformer, but the actual platforming is awful. Billy has a slight delay on his jump, and can barely jump anywhere without his egg. With his egg, he still requires a dash to make it any distance. You can also bounce on his egg, which gives a huge jump, which basically is essential if you want to beat the game, but often the egg lands on the platform, and billy doesnt. The game is full of thin platforms, and really high platforms that just seem perfectly designed to allow your egg to get on them, but not you. In addition, all the platforming past about level 3 is done above bottomless pits, and the camera doesnt look down at all when you jump, so the perspective is all shot ( I typoed shit here, and was tempted to leave it because it's still appropriate). There were some really cool eggs you could hatch, but they just seem really unused - very rarely did you say, need to hatch the remote control egg hat and use it to hit a switch far away whilst you wait on a platform. Simple puzzles like that would've really helped the game become more than it is. Oh yeah, and the camera is atrocious and has a mind of its own, killing you frequently. Lol 3d cameras and Sonic Team.

Still, for all the problems, the characters and music and ideas present, and it was enjoyable in its own way. Im in no hurry to get all the chicken emblems (read:stars) though.

Starfox Command was better than I remember it being. The tactical gameplay im not a big fan of, I'd prefer a conventional starfox game, but I guess its nice that they tried something different. The stylus based controls work surprisingly well (very well in fact), and I enjoyed the way each characters ship had its own features (Like falco having less health, but multiple lock ons for the homing attack, and slippy having lots of health and the best lasers, but no homing attack at all and a tiny boost guage). However, I wasn't a fan of how seriously it took itself, and where they moved the story. General Pepper is bedridden with sickness? Fox and Krystals relationship is in tatters? Starfox is split up (again...)? Who cares, whats wrong with a nice simple story, the starfox characters hardly lend themselves to serious drama. And I'm also concerned by all the new characters, it's almost as bad as Sonic. Slippy toads girlfriend? Peppys Granddaughter? Andross's Nephew/Grandson/something? I dont really care about these characters, and having used them in the game they also contributed nothing - showing up for one mission, saying a few boring lines of dialogue, and then leaving again, unlike the main cast. Theres multiple endings, but i didnt care to play through again straight away, even though it only took 3 and a half hours. Overall a good game, but I'd still rate it as the worst starfox game overall.

Lastly, Sin and Punishment 2 was a blast to play. The action never lets up and I was genuinely impressed by how many things the wii could handle on screen at once. The story is nonsensical and laughable, just like the first, although perhaps a bit easier to follow. There are 7 levels, and they took me from 40 minutes to almost 2 hours (The final levels boss took me a long time to beat...). The game lasted me about 7 hours overall, which isn't bad imo for this genre. There were some downsides - the bosses of the later levels were ridiculous in their difficulty at times (and my gods are there a lot of bosses. The stage with the least had 3, and the stage with the most had about 10). On the other hand, the game has infinite continues and regular checkpoints unlike its predecessor, so it's not too horrible to finish 9apart from those damn boss fights). Sometimes it can feel like you're stumbling through the game little by little in between hundreds of game overs.

Still, I really enjoyed it, and I'd happily play through again soon. There's two characters to play as, so it'll be nice to see how they differ.

1. Deja Vu
2. Lunar Legend
3. Skies of Arcadia Legends
4. Streets of rage 2
5. No more heroes 2
6. Rogue Galaxy
7. Pokemon White
8. Dragon Age 2
9: Call of Duty: Black Ops
10. Mafia 2(new)
11. ArcaniA: Gothic 4(new)

Arcania is essentially if dragon age 2 and two worlds had a baby. I still liked it, though.
