I would count on it.Weekend_Warrior wrote:Deathsmiles (360) - for $60
But then again I haven't seen it for sale "used" anywhere yet. So maybe it was a good purchase, and be worth more down the road?

i can't speak for flake, but the reason i hated the gamecube version was because of the button switching. since i didn't play much of the game i can't comment on any other aspect of it besides that.Jrecee wrote:Is switching the jump/shoot button the only thing wrong with Megaman Anniversary collection for gamecube? I have it for PS2 and haven't found anything wrong with it.
how's the button arrangement in the ps2 version?
if you took a shit, please put it back

Normal. Human.
Square is shoot and jump is X. The gamecube version was...I don't know how a major publisher could fuck something up SO bad.

It was fine... what went wrong with the GC version? You guys seem to be hating on it pretty bad. What was the button arrangement, it couldn't be changed?final fight cd wrote:how's the button arrangement in the ps2 version?

They essentially switched the B and A buttons, making A to shoot and B to jump.brunoafh wrote:It was fine... what went wrong with the GC version? You guys seem to be hating on it pretty bad. Seriously.
Flake's made his hatred of the button switching very public.final fight cd wrote:i can't speak for flake, but the reason i hated the gamecube version was because of the button switching. since i didn't play much of the game i can't comment on any other aspect of it besides that.

Referring to the original topic -
Kengo: Legends of the 9..
I bought it day one, brand new, being such a fan of Kengo on the PS2.. If only there was a youtube video of my reaction to the game that night... I swore to myself I would never make such an expensive leap of faith again..
Not so long after, I reserved and picked up on day one Guilty Gear X2: Overdrive...

Australia, even though our dollar is worth more than the greenback we still pay through the nose for games here. Thank god for eBay and the ps3's region freeness. Oh and of course steam and all thier Christmas sale goodness.BoringSupreez wrote:Do you live in Canada or something, because if you don't, you really need to find a better video game store if you're paying $100 for games.Droid party wrote:I bought driver 3 for the xbox on launch day for $100 without reading any prerelease press for it, considering how much I loved the first 2 I expected it to be a no brainer that 3 would be amazing. I quickly decided that my $100 was completely wasted, it was a dull glitch fest.
Second one the springs to mind, mgs 4. I love this game but I bought it for $100 and not even a week later the platinum version came out for $50. Just really bad timing.

As I recall, their excuse for that was "the gamecube's A button is bigger".YoshiEgg25 wrote:They essentially switched the B and A buttons, making A to shoot and B to jump.brunoafh wrote:It was fine... what went wrong with the GC version? It wouldn't be so bad if you could change the damn thing, but you can't. What a moronic mistake.
That is the very reason why I bought the ps2 version.
