Gamestop selling off older games-Buy2 get2 free sale Sunday!

I can't think of any Gamestop's nearby my hometown, but there is an EB. I actually still manage to find some decent deals in there although the last I was in there a few months back they still had a sizable collection of PS2 games - but none that were particularly noteworthy. As far as I know they still carry GC and I don't usually pay attention to the Game Boy stuff. They may not carry that anymore.

Their GC collection is really small but I was able to find a Fire Emblem on GC there for like under $10 but it was in one of their crappy generic cases without the manuel. Still you can find a good number of PS2 games within original cases there.

There's also a local Game Trader's store nearby my town that still carries NES, PS1, Genesis, and everything up from that - but the store itself isn't that spectacular. Maybe half the time I'll find something I'm actually looking for but a lot of their PS2 an 1 games are still in their cases - along with the Genesis'. And it's very cheap too.

EB and Gamestop are the exact same thing now, so you'll be able to go to this sale too.

I love the B2G1F sale. My brother's birthday is coming up, and he's completely in love with racing games and owns a PS2. So I just went out and got him 6 racing games, complete in cases for under $20. $16 and some change. And they included Gran Turismo 4, Ridge Racer 5, and Crash Nitro Racing among others. Fan-freaking-tastic buy and a great present for cheap.

When I stopped in gamestop this weekend, i asked if I should be on the lookout for a GBA advance fire sale. The guy said to expect to see a buy 1 get 2 sale shortly on all GBA, PS2, and Cube games...i know this contradicts the B2G2 sale we've read about, however i think we can be certain a going away sale is near.

True. But I hold out hope that they'll send out another ad announcing it by Sunday/Monday. *crosses fingers* If not..*shrugs* I guess I'll save some money (Though I'll never get the time back that I spent making a list of everything I wanted and their possible locations )
