Why dont they come here legal? We have a balance system created back in the 60's. Percentage of European, hispanic, african etc. Maybe thats why they are coming over here illegally cause of the wait. I dont know.

We deliberately speed up the process of immigration for scientists, doctors, engineers, or the wealthy. It's a zero sum world and we like to have those people as it means taking them away from a rival. Logical, no?

But for the average person, immigration takes a LONG time. My buddy is marrying a Canadian, real nice girl. Perfect record, Hard working. Educated. It's taken her over a year to get her permit to come into the country.

The welfare system for illegal immigrants DOES need to be reformed, I'll grant you that without hesitation. I think that is in the pipeline in the next few years.

See that would make me mad. Here's a couple trying to do it the right way. Then you have people pulling an (Sorry ahead of time if this offends anyone) "Anchor Baby" to stay here legally after living here illegally. But "theres no canada life french canada its the best canada in the land."
