Javier Bardem as Roland in Dark Tower waddaya think?

Post by ManicMza »

Javier Bardem is close to signing on as Roland in Ron Howards Dark Tower film
I haven't seen much of Javier's work but I do think he has the right look for the role
What do you think?
Also what do you think if Ron Howard as the director?
Systems owned Sega- master system, genesis, cd, 32x, Saturn, dreamcast. Nintendo- Nes, snes, 64, gameboy advance, ds, gamecube. Neo Geo- aes, cd, mvs, ngpc. Microsoft- xbox, xbox360

Javier Bardem: I'd say yes. I'm wondering how it would work with how I see Roland in my head (mostly because Bardem is most defined as Anton Chigurh), but it could work.

Ron Howard: I haven't seen anything of his since A Beautiful Mind, so it depends on what he did since. Has anyone watched Da Vinci Code or Angels and Demons? (I had no urge to watch it since the books were so terrible.)

Yeah, I could see him as Roland.

I have no opinion on Howard though.

I've always imagined Roland older.
Mostly harmless
