Let's Name the Top 100 Video Game Official Soundtracks!

They are not entirely original scores, but some of the biggest and baddest soundtracks belong to the Grand Theft Auto series. While I'm not a huge 80s music fan myself and the sounds of MSX radio on GTAIII are more my thing, I have to give special credit to the Vice City soundtrack for really having a fantastic selection of songs from the time period that made driving around Vice City really feel like you were back in the 80s.

Also I'm surprised no one mentioned the Chrono Trigger Original Sound Version! 3 CDs of some of the best the Super NES can pull off music wise.

Shoji Meguro's work in the Shin Megami Tensei games is always great, but I love the Persona 3 soundtrack most as it just exudes style throughout.

Oh man is Celtic Moon one of the greatest spinoff OSTs of all time. Nobuo flew out to Dublin to record some of the best tracks from Final Fantasy IV with a Irish Quartet and made some beautiful arrangements. Who would have thought celtic versions of Final Fantasy songs could be so awesome?! I wish they would make another one based off FF6 or 7 perhaps.
