It's not a glitch. His individual permissions must be set to have him still be able to moderate posts.

Glitches like that just don't happen.

Glitch. Right. No, I'm afraid I did the unthinkable and spent 30 minutes learning the forum software and changed a few of my powers while I was still a mod, from their global defaults to specialized exceptions for myself. BECAUSE KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

Random thought:

A co-worker gave me the new Victoria's Secret catalog which featured crocheted lingerie (I work in e-commerce for textiles).
Now I remember the catalog being a little racy, but dear sweet lord, it borders on pornography. Not that I'm against it, but the number of full page shots with astonishing chicks wearing next to nothing with them biting on their index finger is just...Well it's pretty awesome. But I had a Grandpa moment when I said "They couldn't get away with this when I was a kid".

But this catalog lets you know (business majors listen up) how Victoria's Secret shows that their marketing is string enough (Freudian slip, but it's funny so I'll keep it) to still send out mail catalogs. They really play to their key strengths; sex. Almost every page has the words "nude, naked, soft, sexy, pink, touch" or something that reminds you of sex. How great would it be to be the director of marketing for that company?

Whenever I do the dishes I suddenly gain an acute fear of my achilles tendons being severed. This is easily the most bizarre psychological phenomenon I've observed about myself.
